Rich first came to United Access as a customer. Rich’s wife, Terri, got her first accessible van from United Access 20 years ago. Rich was so impressed with the experience that he told his wife that if he would ever change careers, he would go work for United Access. Seven years later, that day came. He changed careers and was hired by Richard May. “It has been everything I expected,” said Rich. “You get to work with and meet great people and experience the same excitement each week that Terri and I experienced 20 years ago.” Rich has a BS in Business from the University of Missouri and is certified with Braun, VMI, Ricon, and MPD. He sits on the Board of Directors of at SSM DePaul Hospital and the EMC Advisory Board. Rich has been married to Terri for 24 years and they love to travel together. He is also a big fan of hockey, football and baseball.

 Alan BrownMobility Specialist St. Louis, MO |
Alan has been with United Access since 1992 and has actually been in the medical equipment industry since 1981. “I love my job as I get to help people find their independence everyday,” he said. Alan is certified with all of our vendors and has been doing sales and customer service in this industry since 1990. He is happily married to his wife, Jean Ann, and they have four children. Alan enjoys restoring and driving 1960’s – 70’s muscle cars. | |

Mike has been with United Access since 1995 where he began his career as a service manager. In 2002, Mike eagerly became one of our Mobility Specialists. “It seemed like the kind of place where you could make a difference in people’s lives,” he said. “You go home at the end of the day feeling good.” Mike has an associate’s degree in Design Engineering, is a Certified ASE Master Heavy Truck Mechanic and is certified with all of our vendors. He has been married to his wife, Jill, for 30 years and they have two sons. Mike enjoys travel, home improvement, home brewing and wood working. |

 Mary SauerMarketing St. Louis, MO |
Mary Sauer joined the United Access Marketing Team in May, 2010 to cover the East Region, including our Champaign and Springfield, IL and Memphis, TN branches. She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and will graduate with an MBA from University of Missouri-St. Louis in May 2011. Mary has a strong background in marketing, customer-service and business development. “I could tell from the minute I walked into United Access that I wanted to work here. The culture is so strong and positive and the level of service to others is outstanding. It is a joy to come to work everyday”. She is passionate about travel, working out, riding her bike (including six MS150 rides so far) and spending time with family and friends. | |
