Service Manager Goes The Extra Mile
Dear Sir:
I wish to commend and thank Mr. Mike Kimberling, Lead Service Representative at your Lenexa, KS branch. Two years ago we purchast a Toyota handicap van with a lift chair, made by Bruno from United Access, Lenexa. Mike installed the adaptive chair as well as a Bruno scooter lift for our electric cart and service was outstanding.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2009, my wife's lift chair malfunctioned at the half-way point and we couldn't close the van's door. Fortunately, the malfunction occurred in our garage when we returned from a trip. Since we couldn't close the front passenger door, the handicap accessible van was not drivable. We called United Access in Lenexa, even though it was about three o'clock in the afternoon. Mr. Kimberling came to the phone and assured us he would take care of the problem that very day.
True to his word, Mike arrived at our home in Lawrence, Kansas around five PM. In short order, he diagnosed the problem, performed temporary repairs, and moved the seat into the locked position so the van was now able to be driven safely.
This kind of service, with a smile, is almost unheard of today. Mr. Kimberling is an exceptionally competent mechanic, inspires confidence, and is a truly kind and pleasant person. He is a rare employee. Mike's dedication to his work and dedication to his customers is worthy of special recognition. Thank you.
