“Adaptive Automotive Solutions” Training Course Outline
COURSE DESCRIPTION, AGENDA & Target Audience
An introductory course designed for health professionals and rehabilitation professionals to understand the options available for patients and clients potentially in need of automotive modifications. This course teaches professionals about the unique process involved in evaluating, choosing, and purchasing the right equipment for each person’s long-term needs.
CONTINUING EDUCATION OBJECTIVES
- List Adaptive Automotive products available to your clients.
- Identify the benefits and limitations of different Adaptive Automotive products.
- Define the process for determining the right vehicle modification for a person.
This is an introductory, one credit hour, course designed to be taught within a one-hour time frame. It will begin and end on the hour. It will have no breaks as it is a one-hour course. Questions will be allowed post-course time.
1 credit hour pre-approved program for Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED-CHAP), Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC/CRCC), Kinesiotherapists (CCBKT). All other attendees will receive a 1-credit hour certificate of completion.
