I recently rented a van with a ramp for a power wheelchair for a business trip to Houston. I was going to be traveling with a colleague in a wheelchair. United Access was super accommodating. I worked specifically with Karen Maldonado and her supervisor Mike Murphy. Karen ensured I received email communication before our call ended. She thoroughly explained the rental process to me, and everything that was required to secure the reservation.

Karen went above and beyond to help me. I explained to her my plan to get the vehicle returned. I was going to have to drop my colleague at the airport, then drive to return the van, and then get a taxi or uber back to the airport. Karen advised if she would be able to assist me with the return she would call me back. To be completely honest I did not expect to hear from her. She contacted me later that afternoon and was able to secure someone to drive us to the airport! I was extremely please with her level of customer service. This was saving us time and less back and forth.
We now needed to only return the van, and then we would be driven to the airport.

Picking up the vehicle was very easy. The vehicle was easy to operate and drive. Everything was explained thoroughly to me at pick up. I felt confident leaving that i was not going to have any problems with the vehicle.

Returning the vehicle was equally as easy. Brian was going to be driving us to the airport and provided us with great customer service and conversation. Brian was super friendly and helpful, and ensured a safe drop off at the airport.

I would highly recommend reaching out to Karen, Mike and Brian if you are in need of renting an accessible van. I will definitely turn to United Access for future business travel.

BRENT KEY TO THE RESCUE!
I cannot thank Brent enough for making the van buying experience so stress free and easy. I would have never knew of this place if it wasn’t for Brent selling photo copies of his feet in the restroom at arbys. The van we got works wonders and fits 2 people side by side in wheelchairs no problem. I would have never expected a guy who offers weird services in random restrooms to be such an awesome guy and and dare I call him “friend”. Most places probably won’t even deliver your new ride in person, NOT THESE GUYS! Brent delivered my van and even brought me new sets of feet pics. 10/10 reccoment
