United Access Appoints Bob Desmarais as President

ST. LOUIS — On July 9, United Access announced the appointment of Bob Desmarais as president, effective immediately.

Desmarais joined BraunAbility in 2015, bringing extensive retail mobility experience. He previously spent 24 years in retail businesses, including Ride-Away Handicap Equipment, Auto Mobility Sales and Hasco Medical. Since joining BraunAbility, he has held several key leadership roles within the BAA business, leading dealer development and BraunAbility Finance and most recently serving as vice president and general manager of the consumer division. 

In his new role, Desmarais will lead United Access’s strategic execution, support team members and customers, and position the company for continued success. He will work closely with the United Access leadership team to advance company priorities and pursue new opportunities. 

Desmarais brings broad leadership experience, a strong commitment to company values and a proven record of driving growth, innovation and operational excellence. Throughout his career, he has focused on building high-performing teams, strengthening customer relationships and delivering meaningful results.
