You must be at least 21 years of age with a valid US driver's license in order to rent a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Full coverage insurance and a valid credit card are also required for a rental wheelchair van.
Wheelchair accessible rental vans can be rented daily, weekly or monthly. Cost includes 200 miles per day, training, 24/7 emergency service and retractable tie downs. Purchasing a wheelchair van is a big investment. To make sure you are comfortable and confident in your selection, we suggest to our customers to “try before you buy”. By renting a wheelchair van, you can explore the vehicle and take it for a drive to experience how it fits your mobility needs, your family’s space requirements or even your garage space before committing to a van purchase.

With wheelchair accessible van rentals in high demand, we recommend that you request a reservation at least 2 or more weeks in advance. Summer and holiday months tend to be higher travel times, so it is best to request earlier than later.
Currently, Medicare does not cover the cost of a wheelchair van rental.
You can use your handicap placard in a rental van. United States laws state that handicap permit holder are the only people who can legally use them. Generally, a person using a parking placard can be either the driver or passenger. The handicap placard can be used in another vehicle as long as they are in the vehicle at time of use.
All rentals are subject to mileage limits. Refueling charges apply as per usage. We do not offer full-sized rental vans.
We do not offer one-way rentals. All vehicles must be returned to the original pickup location.
We do not sell supplemental insurance at the time of rental. If you would like or need additional coverage, that will need to be arranged.
Additional charges may apply for items such as tolls, fuel differences, and excess mileage. These are reviewed and applied at the end of the rental.
Wheelchair accessible vehicle rental rates will vary slightly depending upon location. Rates include 200 miles/day and based on pickup and return at same location 24 hours from time of scheduled reservation. Rate based on rental of Dodge Grand Caravans, Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey or similar vehicle. Your rate and mileage fees will be provided before a reservation is confirmed. Vehicles rented cannot travel into Mexico. Rental van prices do not include tax and delivery. Additional charges may apply for optional accessories. Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as they were checked out or a refueling charge of $75 will apply. Vans returned over the allowable miles will be charged $0.25 per mile. There is no smoking in the vehicle at any time. Vans returned in a poorly cleaned condition, a clean-up charge of $100 will apply. Rates are subject to change without notice.
