Mary Zatopek began her career with United Access in marketing over 15 years ago and has since held a variety of leadership roles, including Sales Manager, General Manager, and Regional Vice President. She is currently the General Manager of the Austin, TX branch, overseeing service operations, sales, and staff development. Mary holds an MBA from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Originally from St. Louis, she has called Austin home for 12 years. Outside of work, Mary enjoys travel, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Vocational Rehabilitation - What It Is and How It Works

Our panel of experts discuss Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), which is a Federal-State program that provides a variety of services to persons with disabilities, with the ultimate goal to prepare for, enter into, or retain employment. VR can help customers purchase or modify a vehicle to make it more accessible. This service is only available after other transportation options have been explored and it's determined to be the most appropriate and cost-efficient option. The vehicle modification process includes evaluation, training, vehicle selection, installation, and delivery.  VR’s vary by state, this presentation is a general view of the process.
